Our Cox takes our Liz's crown for being the finest of them all.
These thin-skinned, crisp and rosy sweet darlings are the classic English apple.
Sweet to the core, they make for a great dessert apple. Simply slice and sauté in butter until golden and serve warm with a dollop of cream or ice cream. You could even throw in a handful of sultanas or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
